Off to work we go...

Today I fly up to my field site in Sergipe, on the north east coast of Brazil. Here I'll spend 3 months catching, tagging and watching giant ants...

..and sitting on the beach, sipping cocktails :)

    I have arrived safely in Aracaju, and am currently trying to make plans to head south a little, to a place in Bahia called Campo Formoso, where apparently there are dinosaur ants everywhere! Expect an update on my time in Rio shortly.
